About the desk

The publisher and what it is not

Candle Guide PH is an independent editorial desk. It is not a broker, not an exchange, not a licensed adviser, and it holds no client money. This page explains what the desk does, what it cannot do, and how it earns.

The desk and its one measurement

The desk measures one thing: candle patterns on price charts. Each chart is a real stretch of price history in which a written rule found the pattern; highlighted candles or lines are the ones the definition uses. The sources are named under every chart, with a link, so a reader can check the figure at its publisher. The measurement is republished with the date it was read.

Responsibility sits with the publication's editorial desk: The Candle Guide PH desk. The desk reads the sources, checks the figures, and answers corrections. No single person is named as author or reviewer, because the measurement belongs to the desk as a whole. If a figure is wrong, the desk corrects it and dates the correction.

What the site collects and does not

The site has no accounts, no login, no newsletter and no comment form. It sets no cookie of its own, runs no analytics and stores nothing in the reader's browser. A reader can open any page without leaving a trace that the publisher can see.

The pages are served by a hosting provider which, like any web host, keeps its own technical request logs. The site's publisher does not read a reader's personal data out of them. Those logs are the hosting provider's record, not the desk's, and the desk does not use them to identify visitors.

How the site is funded

The site links to one broker, FxPro, through an affiliate link, and is paid a commission if a reader opens an account there. The reader pays nothing to this site and nothing extra at the broker. This is the site's only source of income.

The reader is never asked to pay for any page, and no tip jar or subscription exists. The affiliate relationship does not change what the desk measures or writes. The figures are taken from public sources and checked against them, regardless of whether any reader ever opens a broker account.

Following the outbound link

The broker's own site is operated by someone else, under its own terms and its own privacy policy, and following the link leaves this site. Before a reader opens an account, the broker's own pages are the ones that state its fees, its rules and its legal entity.

Nothing on this site is investment advice, a recommendation or an offer. The figures describe what things cost, not what a reader should do. Writing to the address on the contact page reaches the desk. Corrections are the reason the address exists: a figure that is wrong is corrected and the correction is dated.
